Nope, I don’t have a writing blog or anything. I just use this tumblr!
some characters designs I’ve been working for a short story/light novel Bell’s working on called The Prison Tower! they are still in their semi-rough stages (theo is still NAKED… dunno what to put him in yet), but here they are if you were wondering what the characters in the story looked like!
Ideally the finished product for the story will have a few ILLUSTRATIONS so lets hope all goes well for that. :>
If you aren’t reading it yet, go do it now and send her nice messages

A sweet message earlier this week reminded me of this, so! My piece for the eruri artbook project this spring.
I don’t reblog this sort of stuff often (social justice-related I guess, I like to keep the blog fun and not thought provoking), but I really think this quote is something great, especially if you’re into writing.
Basically, Sci-Fi as a medium is just another way to represent our present day world. It’s always been like that, the genre was created as a mirror to reflect back on present day through an exaggerated lens. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t be creative with it!
Hollywood (which I think this quote is attributing to) doesn’t care if Sci-Fi has the same white dude leaders, the lame lady side characters, and the same tired tropes, because it’s safe. Hollywood is extremely safe. A lot of writers play it safe. It’s what we’re used to, nobody is gonna complain about it, and it sells. Limits on diversity are safe for investors and audiences alike.
But really, Sci-Fi is so lame when you play it safe, isn’t it?
Have fun with what you write, and think outside the box!

We’re planning on meeting at 3:30pm, SATURDAY, JULY 26 at My Yogurt!
Mainly because we’re going there anyways for frozen yogurt. If you’re around, you don’t need a pass, just basic social skills! Come join us, sit and chat, and get some buttons and shit. It’ll be fun.
Hope to see you there!
Anyone going to comic con?? this is Bell and I’s first time going, and since we’re going as attendees I’m wondering if anyone was interested in a tiny ARH meetup! maybe give away a few buttons…
I’m thinking on Saturday? We can also meet outside of the convention so it’s free for anyone who doesn’t have a pass.
IF YOU ARE GONNA BE IN SAN DEIGO AND INTERESTED, PLEASE REPLY YOU MAY GET FREE SHIT
I’m retconning the name of one of my characters in the Prison Tower.
Not for any plot-related reason. Just because of this, mostly.
Thank you sister for pointing this out.
Apologies to everyone else.
I saw this sitting around in my files and decided to revamp and finish it. I’d like to make a habit of doing simple scenes like this, pulling off a nice atmosphere in pictures is one of my main art goals so it’s good practice.
