I’m foregoing the TCAF recap post since school just hit me over the head with an iron skillet and I have no time, but I am going to wholeheartedly recommend Molly and the Monster to you guys. We had the pleasure of tabling with Mike and second banana Saul at TCAF (which was the best, the weekend could not have been more entertaining than it was) and I got to read this absolutely charming book in the downtime. Check it out if you like cute stories about monsters and small children.

Just a status report. No internets service in hostel. Camping in Second Cup for over an hour. The smell of bleach is burning my nostril hairs.

I do not recommend the bathrooms at the Second Cup. ANY Second Cup.

this is a little late annoucement but wow, Bell and I are going to be at TCAF 2013 this upcoming weekend May 11-12th!! This will be our first time on the east coast/Toronto so please come out and say hi! everything here will be new to us ;v;

The event is free and hopefully will be a nice way to spend your weekend n_n We will have ARH books, an original short story zine by bell, a couple prints and bookmarks, and of course some free flyers. We will be at table 101 (map) on the first floor!

you guys who like Always Raining Here. Have you read Off*Beat?

If you don’t know, it was this lovely comic done through Tokyopop’s OEL print run in the mid 2000s. Never got completed. But now the creator is bringing it back! If you donate, you can read the first two volumes which are now out of print. I really really really super highly recommended it! I’m a huge fan of these books and Ms. Quick, and it has had a good deal of inspiration in Always Raining Here.

So yeah, check out this campaign!!
